Subject: RE: Using cors for RTK

The distances you mentioned are too large to benefit from the CORS. A single base solution will work reasonably well only if you're within 20 miles of the base. A network solution will work fine even if the base stations are further than 20 miles from your location although usually they would not be more than 70 miles miles apart.

The update rates are too slow. You'll need 1 Hz or once per second.

The link you gave is not a very reliable site to check for available sites. Iowa for instance is covered now, but the link is not showing this. Also this site will show national CORS as well as cooperative CORS sites. The latter usually charge for their services and are not networked to provide a RTK netowork solution. It is better to check the State's DOT.
