Subject: RE: COVID-19 and Taiwan

Lancaster, OH
The bottom line is that the bureaucracy and an establishment desire to just attack the President was the stumbling block. Our bureaucracy is so much bigger than Taiwan. Decisions are not quickly made and are made by people gather information from sources they trust and Faucy is deeply entwined with the WHO who did not do their research OR mis-represented the facts.

Taiwan acted on anticipation of what a virulent pneumonia could do in a country as packed as they are. Right call.

If you remember, when Trump limited travel, he was labeled xenophobic and doing it for a distraction.

If there was a failure with this pandemic response, and I don't see that there was a solution with the information that the WHO was providing, it was with the media and additional fears that have been fanned there.
