Make sure screws that hold shifter parts are tight( inside there are 2 screws the face up) sounds like front one is loose.. I'd also check the scv screws since have it apart.. Take 3 bolts out the bottom and front screw under a rest our and lift up gently, threre is a harness connected.. Or possibly the magnet is sliding around in shifter handle??
