let's get back to reading, writing, and arithmetic. Go from 8-12 Monday through Friday and forget about all these other extra courses, they could be offered on line at home from 1-3 maybe. Scratch pe, art, music, band, sports, and everything else! Parents want those things, let them figure it out. Would give teachers and staff an hour off for lunch, then from 1-4 they could catch up on their grading and reports, then sanitize their rooms for the next day. I bet the teachers and the students and the rest of society would benefit in an amazing number of ways from something along these lines. To damn simple though. JMO
