South Central MN | We demoed a row crop special one year thinking it was going to be great for cultivating. Plenty of power, nice hitch capacity, sitting up high.
It was awful. The visibility to what you need to see is not good. You can't see exactly where your tires are on the row for close work, and the cultivator is a long ways back.
Does autosteer work with RCS? Cameras might help with the visibility, but I'd recommend a 2-track tractor before I'd recommend an RCS. They are more nimble, easier to steer in the row, and will probably outpull the 4 wheel drive in most conditions.
We traded a 9180 in on a 765d and the 765d walks all over the 9180. Yes, it has 25 more hp, but the difference is much more noticeable than that. | |
