we use a 335 steiger to sidedress with a mounted bar. works well for us. the articulation allows it follow a curved row better. adjusting to straight rows is not as good as a MFWD. Also have to get used to watching the hood ornament and not a front tire.
Have no experience with the older case 4WD so not sure how they would stack up. We are also in 30" rows.
