Southern Ab | Homemade ice cream wasn’t a thing we did when I grew up. When my kids were old enough I bought a hand crank churn and started the tradition. Our first batch was with Jersey cream from my neighbor. That cream was so fresh and rich I was expecting something almost heavenly but we pretty much just churned it in to butter. We did get better at it and and had some great family time. | |
