East central iowa
Mark in WCIowa - 7/12/2020 12:03

Is it abnormal for ND to be wet, cold and snowy?

We've had a half inch of rain since late may on many farms. Early corn is 5' tall and tasseling, rolling up tight every hot afternoon.

That makes me sick Mark, everything will work out. We have been fortunate in eastern Iowa, but west of Des Moines is pretty rough. Everything looked good until last night when most our corn went down.

There’s no such thing as a all day 1” rain. Comes in 10 minutes with straight line winds.

Or hail
