Central Ohio | That’s an expensive subject, better be sitting down when you ask the dealer what it costs to rebuild it. We had one done recently, it needed new bearings, races, and some kind of hub update, cause it had been run after it started leaking. If caught early enough, my thoughts are reseal it and run it. Mine was beyond that, bearings and races were showing signs of lack of lubrication. Not a bad job to remove and reseal one. we just exchanged the whole thing and were back going in half a day, sometimes time is money. Best thing I can tell ya is change the 50wt synthetic oil often, and look at what’s on the magnetic drain plug, that tells a lot. Only put the specified amount of oil in them, no more no less. Other than that, those tractors are great machines, that are pretty low maintenance. | |
