Renville,, normally the top corn, soybeans and sugar beet County had too much rain leaving Swift County the number one corn yielding county in MN...

Yep, the bottom portion of MN including Renville/Redwood/Sibley counties are the major corn producing parts of the state. Where I am anything under 4% OM is considered low... Show that to the I state guys... Soil water holding capacities like you wouldn't believe in a dry year, but can flood out when wet. Don't have to go too far east of me this year to see waist+ high corn drowned out, luckily enough I missed that heavy rain.
