Yep, the bottom portion of MN including Renville/Redwood/Sibley counties are the major corn producing parts of the state. Where I am anything under 4% OM is considered low... Show that to the I state guys... Soil water holding capacities like you wouldn't believe in a dry year, but can flood out when wet. Don't have to go too far east of me this year to see waist+ high corn drowned out, luckily enough I missed that heavy rain.
