ford county,illinois | While in Cody make sure you do the Cody Museum, the outdoor museum out by the rodeo, of course the rodeo one night. If you want some adventure head out to Meeteetse,Wy they have a nice little museum that has a lot of old west items and a bunch of Maroboro Man ad stuff. There is a big ranch right out of town where they filmed all those ads. If you have a huge amount of adventure you can try and make it out to Kirwin,Wy where Amilia Earhart was to build a house when she returned from her around the world trip. We made it to within a couple miles but a creek crossing was going to be too much for our rental suv. Another place to go out west if you get anywhere near it is Custers Last Stand Museum. Have fun I love that area. | |
