Our grass hay bale count is off 30-40% compared to any of the last 5 years. Baled some 2nd cutting alfalfa/orchard yesterday...316 small square bales off of 13 acres. Last year that piece did 570. We've had plenty of heat and sunshine but we are really lacking in moisture.
