NC IA | I sell small square hay. It seems the price has softened in the past 45 days. Last year I would sell my hay within a few hours of being posted on craigslist or FB - could get $5 for grass hay and $6 for alfalfa no problem. Seems like there is an over supply this year as I see a lot of posts on FB for hay for sale and prices are dropping. I hauled some super nice grass bales to hay auction after getting no interest for a few days and got about $3 a bale in mid June. | |
