Wisconsin | if it's top quality soft green and not stemmy, then I'd expect to pay $200 a ton, a little less fresh out of the field. probably a little more if it's stored inside till January. I'd bet KY would be similar to SW WI, if not a better price for premium horse hay. I've paid that the last couple years, or a little better if it was slightly moldy, or had clover that horse people don't like. | |
