If you really do a 2 ft band for 5 miles that works out to 1.2 acres a load I would put in 24 oz or so depending on weed size your trying to control. I would not put round up in just so you dont kill the grass. Other wise the broadleaves will just show worse then before. I'd you really want to then add around 32 oz of round up of choice and spray away.
Sterling blue will not harm xtend soybeans.

The nozzle tip I have on the end is a 7.5 flood jet, pointed down and spraying right towards the crop. What I'm trying to get is about a foot past the row.....and area that got a half rate from the end nozzle when we actually sprayed the crop.....there is a lot of small pigweed trying to come up, and any grass would be foxtail....it's supposed to be a bare area.
