Illinois | There are some additional fees paid to other vendors in a transaction above what would be considered normal title company fees. Examples that the buyer pays in IL include cost to record the deed and revenue stamps. I’m not defending their estimate to you, but those additional items I mentioned, plus maybe some I’m forgetting about, would not typically be quoted by the title company on a disclosure like this, unless you specifically asked them to quote you all the transaction costs. | |
