Western Wisconsin | We put all our n on up front on soybean stubble. Have very hilly ground and can't sidedress with it. First year it was at 30in spacing but we narrowed it up to 20in this year. We plant 30in rows and didn't try to follow bar as to hard in our hills. We noticed the first year that where the corn was 10 or more inches away from 32 it took along time to find n and field looked very streaky. Moving to 20in this year seemed to help that alot. We did have a few issues in wet ground where when planter went right over it corn fell in a little deep and didn't come up. Have any other questions give me a shout. | |
