On our high yield corn plots we spread AMS preplant. Then put a mix of 28 and ats in starter on planter. Then sidedress NH3 about v3-v4. We have not seen a big enough gain to justify Y drops in most instances. Since you don’t have starter on planter I would think you could spray 28 and ats instead. We end up with about 35 lb of S and 300 lb of N but we are shooting for 300+ corn.
