North Central Illinois
Should I be making another K app in crop, or just chalk it up to a lesson learned and plan for next year?

Baling rye or oats, then planting beans has always worked before. I don't worry as much about the K removal in the forages since it only gets sold on the hoof and I put the manure back where it came from. This is my lowest CEC ground (mid teens), so I guess this would be the place it would catch me, wouldn't it.

Funny thing is how symptoms are so spotty. One row will look like these for 20 feet and the next row over looks just fine.
