Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | That is a very good question. I've been around peas all my life as there were several processing outfits in my area. There are still some left. I have no knowledge of the hail situation.
Upon opening the pods with the white spots, it is evident that the pea in that area died and has shriveled back to nothing. This did leave a somewhat moldy residue where that pea had been. The other peas in the pod seem normal and taste fine.
