NC Indiana | Our 1840 with the weight kit on back will not pick up a 5x5. Damp to Wet 4x5's can put you on your face. Have seen a few 3k hour 1845's around for $10-15k. We bought a 2005 T250 Bobcat for a second machine and to run a tree puller. 19 yr old daughter likes it over the 1840, but we have $20k in it. It will handle 3 - 4x5's at a time in a triangle with a high back on the spears. It can be hand controls or both hand and foot controls. Neighbors have T190's, S250's and S300's. They all have cattle and all would handle those bales. Could have had a lot of larger wheel machines when we were looking for close to 15k - 100+ hp Gehl and Mustangs even. Not a fan of the 200 series Deere's, but the 75 series (NH made) were good. | |
