It doesn't matter what number anyone says, whatever the USDA prints is the number they will trade, they are the geniuses to many. Those ding dongs can cook the books to make in it their favor, they do it every year. Find a few million bushels here, lose a few million bushels there the next year. We're nothing but puppets in a government show.
Rod@night, IMO has one the best posts on the USDA reports and their meaning.

It’s not about their or anyone’s else numbers being to high or to low. It’s about awareness....It’s about the noise, the speculation, the momentum, the money, and how the market perceives risk reward in a finite time frame.
Nobody is actually trying to predict the future....but they very well may be trying to influence it...Yes, agreed
“ anybody’s guess on here is as good as theirs”....great, couldn’t agree more;however, no body is going to buy or sell 10,000 contracts because they read an Agtalk post.

The value is in access to and the interpretation of the information....the accuracy of the information will go unchallenged within the trade. We all can read a calendar.
