If I had a dollar for every one of those crappy jars I've filled after 27 years of hauling milk I'd be rich. Those are the worst design ever. But Mueller probably made more money selling replacements than they made on the tank. Glad I don't have to mess with them anymore. I'd replace with the water filter as well.


As a milk hauler, why did you fill the jars? Our milkman of many years would simply shove the pump in the tank, and spin the dial. Chemical or no chemical, he didn't think it was his concern. He was right. If I didn't fill the chemical jars myself, my tank wouldn't clean right, and it was my problem. Not his.
