Seem to remember mine coming down my cheek beside my ears first. Then on my top lip - a mustache if you could call it that.

After I left school at 16 yrs old!  I reckon hard work at harvest on our farm soon had me needing to shave if I was going out.

Genetics have a lot of influence on when beards appear - and that includes hair colour!

When I was married at 25 yr old, my groomsman, bit older than me but a blonde, had two days growth on as he stood with me and my best man. No one noticed! Just very fair fluff!
