Central Alberta | Out feeding cattle one day, and we heard rifle shots in the distance. A few seconds later, we heard something whistling through the air, and the cattle scattered in every direction. A slug hit the truck behind where I was standing a moment before, and left a deep dent. We found the slug, which was all deformed by skipping through the tree tops. We went for a drive over in the direction of the shots, but all we found was a gut pile. Deer hunters. | |
