Yes, actually planted at 3 inches this spring as it was so dry. It took a few days longer to come up vs the neighbors but from what the local coop scout is saying we are missing 3-5%, those that planted 1.5-2 are missing around 25% in stand, had moisture to germinate but not enough to keep going. Same w beans, this yr the beans planted 2 inches deep have much better stand than those planted 1 inch in this area.
Hefty corn 7 days sprouted, 1" tall.
