swMN | Schweiss was bought out by B& H mfg in Jackson ,about 1999 ,he continued building mowers for a while, the first couple changes were just cosmetic, he thought more farm wives mow lawn so he made em look better than the tank they were. Then he started buying cheaper hydros and wheel motors, thinner gauge metal for the decks, changed the design of the deck, wich was why it mowed so well, the original dealers and customers just quit buying them and he quit manufacturing the mower, he still makes the snowblower. If I find a schweiss mower on a farm sale I try to buy it, but they bring way too much money. Edit: found 3 pics the black with yellow and orange was the original then Schweiss changed to silver and gray, the silver one is a first B&H style change I believe that one will still have the better hydro and wheel motors
