Northeast Iowa
Yes Joystick controlled.

Before my adult years, my parents bought a Toro zero turn (commerical) with the two levers. That thing is the second best mower I ever rode. It is fast, powerful, and easy to maintain.

Mine is good enough for me.

My neighbor is a dealer for Toro/Country Clipper/Stihl stuff. He had a suped-up and very quiet diesel motor he let me use once, and that was nice. I cant remember if he put an air ride seat on it, but I think that was the bees knees.

There are some very cheap zero turns out there, I wouldn't recommend them, but I would still recommend them before a lawn tractor. The first zero turn I drove was in 2004 when I was in high school. Dad bought an Agco tractor and the mower was mostly a gift with it. It was so nice compared to the LX180 JD, but you wouldn't catch me on it today.
