Heard about this but never got chance to try.
Plastic barrels strung on a cable. Drill tight hole each end. Tie one end with light wire so breaks under big strain. Cows won’t hop barrels, and barrels turn to avoid trash build up. Floats on top no matter what. Keep longer loop in cable so it has room to rise and fall
