Subject: RE: Nosy finance question

n. Illinois
From 40 years of Ag lending experience, Your doing great. Most borrowings are 75-80%of the projected gross income on a traditional C-SB grain operation. There are those operations (old money/successful) that have working capital that is equal to a years gross income, Working capital (besides profits) is the key to success in farming and its the number one lesson that most operators fail to get. shoot for Working capital to be at least 25% of your gross as a minimum and keep it there and let it grow.
