C IL | I signed up to 1GB. Worst case I pay a coop 25% extra for a few years and they use the money to make service better in the local area.
I do agree that if you build it, it has come in the arena of bandwidth, which is why I want to not make a short-sighted decision. 3D, maybe holograms eventually?
I read online that a single fiber is usually split between 16 houses which run on different wavelengths and theoretical bandwidth is 1.2 Tbps, perhaps. I can split a Terabyte 16 ways and get by for a while, I hope.
This has to be a really good deal for the local community. I sure appreciate IL Fiber Connect and the work that they are doing.
