Here you go.

Oatmeal Cookies The Best
3 eggs 2 ½ cups flour
¾ cup raisins 1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla 1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup butter 2 tsp soda
1 cup light brown sugar 2 cups oatmeal
1 cup granulated sugar 1 & 1/3 cup chopped pecans

Combine eggs, raisins, Let stand for 1 hour. (Covered) Do not skip this step >secret to success<

Cream Butter and sugar, add flour, salt, cinnamon and soda, Mix well, Blend in egg / raisin mixture & oatmeal and Nuts, Dough will be stiff. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheets, bake at 350 for 10 to 12 min. Makes about 6 dozen, freeze well

Note: I got this Recipe from The Bread of Life recipe Book, it was put out in 1994 by Temple Baptist Church Ruston La.

Note: 12-23 =This year I made 4 batches of these cookies, the last batch I cut the raisins back ¾ cup and bumped the pecans up to 1 & 1/3 cups of chopped Pecans. I like them with the extra nuts & less raisins
