roaming | If it were my father-in-law who helped me get into farming, then 2 things:
1. It's probably more a matter of education than trust.
2. I would most likely know from experience that he wants the operation to succeed as much as I do. (This is not always true with hired hands. Some are just in it for the paycheck.) Since he wants it to succeed, he'll more than likely be willing to accept the education noted above.
I'm not saying that all hired hands are idiots or untrustworthy. My point was simply that it's not the manufacturer's job to make sure their display is impossible for an untrained operator to screw up. I personally think it's asinine to require someone to use desktop software to correct a simple misspelling. That's not operator-friendly. | |
