West Michigan | Not sure I follow what you are having trouble with diesel dog. Yes you have to enter the hybrid into the screen in the spring while planting(it is not magic). So after you enter the hybrid, or hybrids if you are doing a split planter, you then download them into your desktop software after planting. Then before you go to combine you load variety/hybrid locator files off the desktop software onto your card. After you load them on the card and put it into combine then it will tell you which hybrid you are in. That was what I was trying to say in post above. You need some form of desktop software. You can not just take a card from planter to combine. | |
