Key is flat plate area. I use 18.4 rears to run in between 30” rows. The exact numbers slip me, but I think 20.8x42s have the same flat plat area as 18.4x46s under similar load.
20.8s run on a wider rim than 18.4s but you can take 18.4s off and mount 20.8s.
I am bombing around and dreaming of my next tractor upgrade, unfortunately not many have the tires I want.
