NW Ohio | ...just how long it takes food prices to plummet. Now that ethanol plants are shut down, and corn heading down to who knows what price. The opponents of ethanol preached and preached how using corn for ethanol was making food prices go sky high.
Well, with that thought in mind, food prices should be heading lower. It looks like the USDA and ethanol opponents have done their job in lowering the corn price. Let’s see how long it takes for food prices to follow suit. | |
