SW WI | I read a Dennis Smith commentary last night....still hanging on to the “China will buy huge amounts of pork in the next 2 years” mantra. But of course he prefaced it by saying not all pork producers are going to survive this. Also mentioned about a recommendation to buy puts a few weeks ago but many didn’t because no one expected this wash out being this bad.
Could that have been because of market “experts” always talking about huge demand from China, that’s always just around the corner? *****
