If you google, looks like as many articles saying no, as saying yes. Or, some say "possible".

Here's a somewhat local, recent, article from Champaign IL. This Dr says no. Which expert to listen to? Pick one. I think Champaign was one of the first cities to lock down. Probably a month ago.

Of course, one could attempt to touch absolutely nothing bare handed. Kind of like the recommendation to "not touch your face". Try that for 24 hrs, assuming you have at least arms.

Also, if you've ever worked in a sterile environment, you learn about "touching". So...you wear latex gloves @ the gas station or at the grocery store. You touch the shopping cart handle....no problem, you kept your skin safe. You pick up a loaf of bread, but then realize it's the expensive organic version you didn't want. You put it back. You just transferred everything from whatever you touched to the bread wrapper. 

Now you get to the checkout counter. Still have the super safe gloves on. Checkout person says "$25.11 please...". You reach in your pocket or purse to grab billfold.....uh-oh...you just blew it. That's why medical scrubs have no pockets. Theoritcally, you should peel off the gloves (only touching the inside and not touching your skin), then pay with sterilized money. Not sure where you get that from. Also, your cc would carry just like that gas pump handle.

Again, it's like not touching your face. You can try it, but good luck. I'm not suggesting it's wrong to try....just realize you probably can't make it work 100% unless you live in one of those medical bubble things.
