without knowing all of Valero's internal business it is hard to know if their ethanol storage tanks are full or not, so we can't really claim they are or are not acting in good faith. What I do know is that they bought at least two of their ethanol plants in Iowa for pennies on the dollar when previous owner went broke due to poor management. So their cost of production should be a lot lower than most of the other ethanol plants. Why is Valero needing to shut down?? and why can they use Force Majuer to back out of contracts? I would like to back out of the fuel contract I signed a month ago-don't think my Coop will think much of that idea...
