East Central, Nebraska | im not sure I completely understand this but why not reflash the nav to cnh and just have a full blown accuguide system since it would appear you have all the components (unless I am missing something) and then everything would work fine together. if the guy doesn't want to use the autosteer then whatever at that point.
if there is a 372 in the mix and your not sure what is happening with your nav, then pull gps out of port b on the 372, configure and pin port c.
as I stated I am not sure I understand the situation but seems as if your going out of the way of a normal and complicating a simple install just to ensure the user doesn't autosteer like the customer wishes.
