A local guy bought and fixed up one a few years ago, one bright sunny day I came upon him riding it down the road. I was giving him a hard time about it being illegal to buy, or sell, or ride them upon a public highway.
he called b.s. on me and we had a good laugh, couple weeks later a deputy sheriff stopped him and gave him a ticket for riding it on the road.
Looks like I'm safe
