west central Iowa | I was at a party one summer while I was in college. They got one of those three wheelers out and everybody was going for a ride. By the time my turn came the throttle cable broke so you had to wrap the end of the greasy cable around your finger and pull on it. I had a few beers in and cable kept slipping so I wrapped it around my finger real good, too good, headed for a pickup and couldn't let off the throttle. Finally got it released and turned enough that only the back wheel hit the pickup. I spun around a couple times in the gravel road before I came to a stop. Too close for comfort. | |
