We know they took drastic action in locking down a major city. We know they monitored everyone’s temperature and quickly isolated those with fevers from the general population. They were getting covid 19 test turnaround times of 4 hours. We haven’t done any of these things.

Dr. Li Wenliang Was tested 6 times and even though he was exhibiting symptoms the tests came back negative 6 times, finally the last test that he got the results back on Jan 30th was positive, he died on feb 7th. If you don’t know that name look it up!
Lots have had no symptoms but were infected and infectious. Fever is a symptom but doesn’t always exhibit. Failure!

Germany hasn’t tested at high rate but have been meticulous in tracking those infected to isolate those that were contacted, tested and quarantined. They were Also far more willing to distance themselves, they interact more like we do vs the bulk of the Europeans, maybe a hand shake vs kiss, kiss baby. Death rate lower even though they have an older population, the median age of infected is 47, Italy its 63, China 60. We have a far younger population then those that are dying at a higher rate.

Testing doesn’t stop interaction, it might encourage it if those that think they don’t have it and are missed when the test fails keep spreading it.
