why dont people pour cement instead of dealing with this year inn and year out? i realize it takes money but man you know how much health and performance mud and slop take away form your animals? im a stock cow guy myself, in my early 30's, every year i pour more, 40 or so yards. I always say i dont wanna be doing this in my 50s and 60s and still dealing with mud. havent found a yard i regret pouring either.
I was around cattle when Dad had them, but I am not a cattle guy. My mom's cousin was a successful cattleman and he had a lot of concrete. I can't help but wonder if anyone has any figures that would show the roi in cattle concrete. I wonder if it is kind of like tile for the crop guys. Not only does it give roi, but it gets rid of a lot of headaches. If that is the case, then I really admire your initiative mnfarmn. (: |
