North Central Illinois | I don't disagree that your company is taking on some risk, and offering a value adding piece to the supply chain (particularly in the case of large end users who don't want to deal with multiple small entities). I'm all for "find an opportunity and utilize it."
That said, it is in the farmer's best interest to capture as much of the pie as possible. In the case where the end user demands aggregation, the cooperative model of the OFARM network is better suited to keeping the farmer's profit at the top priority. | |
