Aerial application? Might not be any more experience than your ground application if you factor your time and yield loss.
I never liked running over wheat other than dormant stage or real early spring. Unless you're running same tracks or tramlines. Always can see the tracks of ever seperate pass. So it's most certain there's some yield loss. Even if it's just a few bushels/acre.
And if it's wet like you say it is, I'd bet your yield loss will be more than a little. Aerial just not much of an option in some of our fields . I know when I do the second nitrogen application the tracks will stay . I don't get worried about it we must spray fungicide for head scab and that will defiantly be permanent damage in the tire tracks . Start of in the beginning of the year stay in same tracks |
