May consider a double disk blade type ditcher. It throws dirt a few feet away each way but no pto required. Run it as fast as you can ride. We take a blade off one side to narrow it up in our lighter soils. Heavy, wetter soils need both blades to avoid making a ribbon like a plow would. We use it after planting and crop grows right through the little berm. It will make a 4440 with loader pull sideways a little in tougher soils with one blade. Sunflower had an EZ ditch and I think they were made by Forrest City. We copied a neighbor's and built one. They need some weight on top if ground is tough. Here's a link
