Sharing what I was taught to do.
Most accurate number is first thing in the morning upon rising. Take it with both feet flat on the floor ( not legs crossed) and no talking during the testing. Do three tests and obtain an average of the readings.
120/80 is considered "normal" but I have read that the new normal today is higher.
What should I consider my BP to be?
