NE Iowa | Had goats for about 17 years. Sold the last of them last fall. A lot like having beef cows. Can have 5 goats for every cow feed wise. 5 goats will make more money than one cow. But goats are work. They waste feed terribly, need worming constantly, and need hooves trimmed twice a year. If willing to put up with the hassle there is money to be made but you have to have the time. | |
